This stunning four-bedroom house in the Snæfellsnes peninsula has recently been renovated for your comfort. Just a 30-minute drive from the ring road, the accommodation is perfect to unwind and relax, in an undisturbed area, with beautiful view in all directions – both towards the sea and mountains.

Good to know

The house has recently been renovated to ensure a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything that should be required for a perfect cup of coffee – or Sunday roast. The dining area is spacious with space for up to eight diners, and the cosy living room has all amnesties, including a smart TV. The four comfortable bedrooms will have you well rested after a long day. Three bedrooms have a queen-size bed, while one has a bunk bed with capacity for up to three guests. The two bathrooms have a walk-in shower. You will be supplemented with: - High-end bed Linen - Large towels - Organic, locally produced toiletries - Fast & Free Wi-Fi - Smart TV - Bluetooth speaker - A fully stocked kitchen upon your arrival with some essentials! We have provided teas and coffee, so all that’s left for you to do is relax and settle in after your journey.

This was our last stop on our drive around Iceland on the Ring Road. At first we were concerned that it was too remote, but we all loved the location and the amenities. We were thrilled to stay in and cook dinner and the home lent itself to being comfortable and relaxed. It had everything we needed. We had a little hiccup with the dryer on our last night and Helga Maria was super responsive and offered to come address the problem right away. If you want to experience the peace and calm of Iceland's beauty and nature, this is the spot for you!

My husband and I booked this Airbnb last minute, and to be honest we were a bit worried about it being in a more rural area, away from the restaurants and places we wanted to visit in this peninsula. However the location ended up being the highlight of our trip! It’s such a peaceful location surrounded by horses and farm land, with the most stunning view of the mountain from the living room and kitchen. We loved the drive to it and stopping to see so many beautiful horses. The apartment was thoughtfully decorated, modern, cozy and really a great experience. Thanks for having us!

When we first arrived, my 14 year-old stepdaughter immediately exclaimed, "I want to live in this house!" The house itself is incredibly comfortable, full of thoughtful details like tea and wonderful-smelling shower products. The best part about the house it how it serves as a frame for the breathtakingly beautiful and remote location it sits in. Don't think twice, just book Helga's place. You'll be so happy you did!

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft und auch dieses Mal wieder sehr zufrieden. Die Unterkunft ist mit der angegebenen Beschreibung leicht zu finden und der Check-in mittels Schlüsselbox flexibel und einfach. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern ist problemlos und schnell. Auch die Lage ist perfekt, um Snaefellsnes zu erkunden. Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder :)

This place was perfect for our time on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The home is private and peaceful, and the views of the sea and mountains are an amazing bonus. We arrived to find the Klöpp Lodge immaculate and well decorated, with plenty of utensils in the kitchen for the cooks in our group. There were lots of fresh towels, toiletries and supplies provided for our comfort (which is always nice!) Helga's communications included detailed and helpful information, as well as great suggestions for dining, grocery shopping, activities, and attractions. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

Our group of four adults enjoyed a very nice mid-May stay at Helga Maria's place while exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula during our trip to Iceland. The surroundings are remote, beautiful and peaceful with expansive views of the farmland and horses surrounding the property, as well as the ocean in the distance and the mountains nearby. The rental unit is very nicely furnished, with comfortable beds and showers. The kitchen had everything we needed - new utensils and appliances. The dining room table is large enough for all to have a seat at dinner. The washer and dryer settings are in Icelandic but we were able to translate enough to figure it out. Helga Maria was responsive and helpful at check-in and during our stay. Restaurants were 15-20 minutes away. Grocery stores are 30-45 minutes away (if you're driving from Reykjavik you might want to stock up on groceries in Borgarnes).

Lovely stay at Klöpp Lodge! The lodge is elegant, simple, modern style. Everything felt very clean (and I rarely say this!:). We had a few small miscommunications, but owners were so quickly responsive that it did not diminish our stay. Appreciated the toiletries with Icelandic herbs, the generous supply of nespresso (we love coffee). All furnishings felt like good quality. Beds were comfortable. Nice hot water and waterfall showers. Would definitely recommend!!
